How to Maintain:

➊After Each Use

Rinse the gun body and flow channels with clean water, draining any internal water; check the muzzle and shaft for any mud or sand obstruction, and dry the exterior.

➋Daily Inspection

Test the horizontal 360° rotation and elevation -30°~60° movements; rotation should be smooth and without jamming; check the connecting flanges and seals for any water leakage.

➌Regular Lubrication

Add grease to the slewing bearing and elevation shaft monthly to ensure smooth rotation.

➍Fastener Inspection

Check all fixing bolts quarterly, tightening any loose ones promptly; apply rust proofing to rusted areas.

➎Storage and Freeze Protection

 HOWO Fire Truck Equipment Room

The equipment compartments are located on both sides of the vehicle and feature aluminum alloy roller shutter doors. The compartments are equipped with adjustable supports and door controlled lighting, and include drainage holes for rain protection and drainage. They are used to centrally store various firefighting and rescue equipment. The main storage items include: fire hoses, nozzles, suction pipes, water distributors, fire hose connections, breaching tools, personal protective equipment, and fire hydrant wrenches.

 

 How Do Water Tanker Fire Trucks Work?

✅Power Transmission: The chassis engine drives the fire pump via a power take off (PTO), or a separate diesel generator set directly drives the pump.

✅Water Source Switching: When supplying water from the tank, the tank valve is opened, allowing water to flow directly into the pump inlet; external water sources are connected via a suction pipe, and water is drawn in after priming and venting.

✅Pressure Output: The fire pump pressurizes the water, delivering one stream to the roof mounted fire monitor for long

distance suppression, and another stream to the vehicle's water outlet for use with the fire hoses; the pump speed is controlled by adjusting the throttle, thus changing the water pressure and flow rate.
