The FOTON 16CBM garbage compactor truck typically employs a reciprocating compression method, where the mechanism moves from the rear to the front of the box.
CS truck engineers have taken into consideration that if the rear loading hopper and the box entrance are designed too low, the garbage initially loaded will accumulate at a lower position in the rear of the box. During the first compression cycle, the mechanism would only push the garbage accumulated at the bottom, leaving the upper space underutilized. This results in low compression efficiency and reduced single-trip loading capacity.
After in-depth technical communication with municipal operators , CS truck engineers optimized the geometric design of the loading hopper and container entrance. This innovation enables the FOTON 16CBM compactor truck to initially deposit waste at an elevated position in the mid-rear section of the container. When the compression mechanism advances, it not only propels the waste horizontally but also generates downward compaction force, fully utilizing the vertical space of the entire container. This three-dimensional compaction methodology significantly enhances loading efficiency and compression density compared to conventional designs.
2.Preventing garbage spillage and improving sanitation:
The FOTON rear loader features a uniquely designed high rear hopper edge that creates an effective containment barrier. When the lifting mechanism raises and empties garbage bins, this design significantly prevents lightweight waste materials such as paper scraps and plastic bags from being dispersed by wind or falling outside the vehicle. The garbage falls from the elevated hopper directly into the deep interior of the compression chamber, minimizing rebound and splash-back at the loading entrance.
