The water pump working principle
The water pump of the sprinkler truck is one of the core components of the sprinkler truck. Its main job is to suck water from the water tank and send the water pressure out through the high-speed rotating impeller to realize the water spray function of the sprinkler truck.
1, the work of the water pump depends on a power source. Most sprinklers use gasoline engines or diesel engines as the power source. The engine will transmit power to the water pump through the connecting rod, so that the water pump can work. When the engine is started, the water pump starts working. Inside the water pump, there is a suction inlet and a pressure outlet. The suction port is connected to the water tank, creating a lower pressure area inside the water pump.
When the water pump starts to rotate, the rotation of the impeller creates a centrifugal force that draws water from the tank into the inside of the water pump. After water enters the water pump from the suction inlet, the high-speed rotation of the impeller forces the water to rotate rapidly, and due to the action of centrifugal force, the water is pushed into the annular chamber with higher centrifugal force.
When the water level drops, the water pump will continue to work to ensure that the sprinkler truck can continue to spray water. During the operation of the water pump, some details need to be paid attention to.
In addition, the design of the water pump also needs to take into account the needs of water spraying, such as adjusting water pressure, changing the water spray angle, etc. All in all, the working principle of a sprinkler truck water pump is to generate centrifugal force through a high-speed rotating impeller to achieve the process of absorbing water from the water tank and sending the water pressure out.
