The Pipeline Cleaning truck, also known as a sewer cleaning truck, is a specialized vehicle designed for maintaining and cleaning sewer pipelines. The process involves several steps and equipment to effectively clean the pipes and ensure smooth flow.
Firstly, the cleaning truck is equipped with a high-pressure water jetting system. This system consists of a water tank, a pump, and a series of nozzles. The truck connects to a nearby water source, and the pump pressurizes the water to a high level. The nozzles are then used to spray the pressurized water into the pipelines.
Before the cleaning process begins, the truck operator inspects the pipeline using a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.
