Working Principle of HOWO urban fire rescue vehicle
The core of a foam fire truck lies in its water and foam mixing and delivery system, which uses a power take off unit to drive the fire pump via the chassis engine, thereby generating water pressure and performing the following three key operations:
➊ Water Intake and Pressurization: The engine drives the fire pump to draw water from the onboard tank or an external water source and pressurize it.
➋ Foam Mixing: High pressure water flows through a foam proportioning mixer, which draws in the foam concentrate in the correct proportion to form a foam mixture.
➌ Fire Suppression: The mixture is discharged through a fire monitor or fire hose, forming foam to extinguish the fire.
