How does a hook lift garbage truck work?

The hydraulic control system of a skip loader includes oil tanker, oil pump, multi-way control valve, hydraulic cylinder, balancing valve, hydraulic leg lock, oil filter, pipeline system, etc.

The PTO (Power Take Off) gets power from Truck Engine, then transit power to Oil Pump through transmission shaft, the Oil Pump start working, Multi-way Control Valve can control the swing arm and hydraulic legs working, which can match with refuse container loading and un-loading, then realize the garbage collection and transportation job.

The working principle of the components of skip loader

Skip loader truck container: The container is a metal welded part, and there are two types: open and sealed. After the bulk goods are loaded into the container, a hanging chain is hung and the container can be hoisted onto the truck by operating the swing arm. When unloading, operate the swing arm to lift the container. After landing, remove the hanging chain at one end to operate the container to unload. The maximum tipping angle of the container can reach 86°.

Hydraulic operating system: composed of oil tank, oil pump, multi-way reversing valve, hydraulic cylinder, balance valve, hydraulic lock, oil filter and pipeline. The entire system of the swing-arm garbage truck is powered by the automobile gearbox and power take-off. The manual multi-way reversing valve controls the telescopic movement of the outrigger cylinder and the swing arm cylinder. The displacement of the oil pump in this system can be controlled by the manual throttle under the vehicle. The manual reversing valve handle controls the valve stem stroke to control the movement speed of the oil cylinder piston rod. The system pressure can be set by the safety relief valve. If the system exceeds the set pressure, the safety relief valve will overflow valve.

Operating system: The conversion of various functions is realized through this system. Before operating the multi-way reversing valve, the power take-off should be hung to drive the oil pump to work. By operating the handle of the multi-way reversing valve on the swing-arm garbage truck, the telescopic legs, loading and unloading work can be completed. By operating the throttle handle next to the multi-way reversing valve, the engine speed can be controlled, thereby adjusting the flow of the system and changing the working speed of the mechanism.
