Super ISUZU Road Sweeper Truck, First Choice in Dominica Country

Dec 19, 2025

Road sweeper trucks play a vital role in maintaining clean and safe environments in airports, urban streets, highways, and industrial areas. They efficiently remove dust, debris, and litter, contributing to better air quality, reduced contamination risks, and enhanced visual appeal. This article uses the ISUZU 10m³ road sweeper truck as an example to illustrate the operational process. Designed for reliability and thoroughness, it follows a streamlined three-phase workflow: Sweeping Operation, Operation Conclusion, and Waste Unloading. This guide details its optimized steps to maximize equipment performance.

2.Sweeping Mechanism Engagement:

Engage the auxiliary engine clutch control button to activate the suction fan.

Lower the dust collection hopper using its dedicated control button.

Deploy the left and right side sweeping brushes to the ground position via their respective controls.

Activate brush rotation, ensuring the left brush rotates clockwise and the right brush counter-clockwise for optimal coverage and debris collection.

3.Dust Suppression System Activation:

Turn on the front (left/right) and rear spray nozzles to dampen the surface and prevent dust dispersion.

Switch on the water pump to ensure a consistent water supply for spraying.

4.Commence Sweeping:

Drive the vehicle at an appropriate speed, typically between 5-20 km/h, to begin the sweeping process effectively.

Phase 2: Concluding the Sweeping Operation

1.Vehicle and Spray System Halt:

Bring the vehicle to a stop. Turn off the water pump and all spray control buttons.

2.Sweeping Equipment Retraction:

Center the brush rotation control buttons to stop the brushes.

Retract the sweeping brushes and the dust collection hopper to their neutral/up positions using their respective controls.

3.Auxiliary Power Shutdown:

Disengage and reset the auxiliary engine clutch control button to its center position.

Return the main control valve to the center position.

Turn off the auxiliary engine.

4.Power Off:

Switch off the control box power.

Phase 3: Waste Unloading Procedure

1.System Reboot for Unloading:

Restart the control box power and set the control valve to the main engine position.

Start the vehicle's main engine.

2.Hydraulic System Preparation:

Depress the vehicle's clutch. Engage the auxiliary hydraulic pump clutch switch (typically by pulling it outward).

3.Hopper Unloading:

Gradually release the vehicle's clutch.

Operate the rear door control to open it (hold for approximately 5 seconds as per model specifications, then return to center).

Use the hopper lift control to raise the container to the desired angle for complete waste ejection.

4.Post-Unloading Reset:

After unloading, lower the hopper fully using the control button, then return it to the center position.

Close the rear door (hold the control button in the 'close' position for about 10 seconds, then center it).

5.System Shutdown:

Disengage the auxiliary hydraulic pump clutch (typically by pushing it inward).

Gently release the vehicle's clutch.

Return the control valve to the center position and power off the control box. The operation is now complete.

Key Advantages of This Workflow:

This clear, step-by-step process ensures operator safety, protects the sweeper's components, and guarantees efficient, thorough cleaning followed by a complete waste discharge cycle, making the Isuzu 10m³ sweeper an indispensable tool for airport maintenance.
