HOWO Hooklift Truck Description
Hooklift garbage trucks are also hook loader, roll off trucks, and hooklift dumpster trucks. It is a special sanitation garbage transport vehicle that uses a retractable hook arm to realize the secondary lifting of the garbage bin. It can lift the garbage bin up and down by itself, and can automatically dump the garbage.
This HOWO hook lift truck is widely used in urban street and school garbage disposal, and is used for the collection, transportation and unloading of bagged and bulk domestic garbage in cities and towns. One vehicle can be equipped with multiple buckets, and multiple garbage buckets can be placed at each garbage point. It has a self-unloading function and is hydraulically operated for easy dumping.

HOWO Hooklift truck structure
1. Sub-frame
The CS TRUCKS hooklift refuse truck sub-frame is welded with low-alloy channel steel, square tubes and 16Mn steel plates with thicknesses of 8mm, 5mm, and 4mm. The flip frame and movable hook arm are designed reasonably and reliably to realize bin pulling, locking, placing and self-unloading operations. When the garbage bin is pulled onto the sub-frame, there are positioning devices for lateral guide blocks and locking hooks. There is no skewing of the garbage bin during the driving of the vehicle, which is safe and reliable. There is a water tank at the front end of the sub-frame to facilitate the operator to clean up dirt in time and keep it clean and tidy.
2. Garbage bin
The garbage bin body is welded from low alloy channel steel, square tubes and steel plates with thicknesses of 12mm, 8mm, 5mm, and 4mm. The upper end of the bin is designed with a bevel and a cover, which is convenient for loading garbage and sealing it after it is full. At the same time, the bin has an overall sealed structure to prevent secondary pollution when it is moved.
3. Locking mechanism
The locking mechanism of the hook loader truck is set on the flip frame, and the locking function is realized through the action of the hydraulic cylinder. When the garbage bin is placed on the sub-frame, it is locked by the locking device to keep the bin firm and stable during the driving process of the vehicle. At the same time, the bin is connected with the movable hook arm and the flip frame during the dumping process and form a dump angle. When the garbage bin is placed or pulled up, the retracting action of the locking device makes the flip frame and the sub-frame become integrated, which facilitates the movable arm to place or pull the bin. The action of this mechanism makes the entire vehicle work accurately and reliably.
4. Hydraulic system
The hydraulic cylinder of the hooklift truck is controlled by a manual hydraulic multi-way valve. The operation is simple, reliable and easy to maintain. The hydraulic system consists of a fuel tank and filter system, gear pump, multi-way reversing valve, one-way throttle valve, hydraulic cylinder, oil pipe, etc. The power of the system comes from the engine, which is transmitted through the power take-off, which drives the gear pump to work. The gear pump sucks the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic oil tank through the oil suction filter, and the multi-way valve supplies oil. When the multi-way valve works, the hook arm cylinder and locking cylinder move. When the hydraulic cylinder does not work, the hydraulic oil returns directly to the tank through the multi-way valve.
