★ Check that the truck-mounted crane has been properly inspected and certified to operate.
★ Carry out operation inspection according to the requirements of boom crane truck.
★ Make sure that the support block is placed safely.
★ Do not operate a crane unless you are trained and authorized to operate the crane and send signals.
★ Do not operate the crane unless you and the signal person are in direct, clear line of sight or communicating via intercom.
★ Frequently check the weight of loads and rigging. Do not lift loads that exceed the crane's capacity.
★ Check wind speed frequently to ensure safety when lifting loads.
★ During disassembly, always use appropriate blocking devices to fully support the boom section.
★ Always warn others about moving and approaching overhead loads.
★ If you work around a boom truck, be sure to obey warning signs, especially those posted in critical areas.
