1. Shacman vacuum tank truck structural and working principle

This vehicle uses the vacuum pump suction principle to complete its work, that is, the power of the chassis engine is taken from the power take-off and then driven through transmission shaft to drive the vacuum pump, thereby achieving discharging of the air in the tank to achieve a near vacuum. Then, by operating the valve and suction hose, the sewage water from the sewer can be sucked into the tank. It takes about 10 to 12 minutes to fill the tank.
The structure of this vehicle is mainly composed of: 1. Chassis; 2. Power take-off system; 3. Hydraulic system; 4. Vacuum system; 5. Control system.
The following is a schematic diagram of the complete vehicle:

The power take-off system includes (power take-off, operating handle), hydraulic oil circuit system (gear pump, hydraulic cylinder, multi-way valve), vacuum and drainage system (vacuum pump, four-way valve, ball valve, oil and gas separator, water gas separator). The hydraulic system principle and air circuit system diagram are shown in Figures ( 2 ) and ( 3 ).

2. Vehicle operating procedures

1. Pump in operation method:
⑴ Preparation before pump in
a) Close the tank door and three valves.
b) The four-way valve is placed in the middle position.
c) The right stem of the multi-way valve is placed in the middle position.
d) Check whether the vacuum pump oil is normal.
2. Operation sequence
a) Disengage the clutch, place the power take-off lever in the engaged position, and then slowly release the clutch pedal.
b) Place the multi-way valve stem in the "motor" position, and pull the throttle to the most appropriate position so that the vacuum pump rotates at 800-1000 rpm.
c) Place the handle of the four-way valve ( 2) in the suction position, and check whether the air is discharged, whether there is any abnormal sound from the vacuum pump, and whether the vacuum gauge is normal.
d) Put the suction pipe into the sewer caisson. When the vacuum reaches 600-740mmHg, you can open the valve to suck in mud. When suctioning mud, you should move the suction pipe frequently. When sucking in high-viscosity sludge, occasionally let in air and Water can improve mud suction efficiency.
e) After the suction is full, close the mud suction valve and turn the four-way valve and multi-way valve to the middle position to disengage the power take-off.
3. Sludge discharge method:
⑴Open the ball valve of the rear tank door to discharge the sewage in the tank. If you want to speed up the discharge, apply positive pressure.
⑵After the pressure inside the tank is equal to the atmospheric pressure, loosen the compression handle and pull out the screw.
⑶ Restart the oil pump and vacuum pump. The operation steps are the same as mentioned above. Open the tank door of the multi-way valve.
Place the vertical lever in the opening position, slowly open the tank door, and release the joystick after the tank door is in place. The valve core returns to the neutral position under the action of the spring, and then the operating lever is placed in the upward position, and the tank tilts to discharge the sludge.
⑷ Clean the soil on the tank door flange and sealing ring, then put the tank door control lever in the closing position. After closing the door, put the tilting control lever in the lowering position. After returning to the position, insert the screw and press it. tighten, and finally disengage the power take-off.

4. Operation precautions

( 1 ) Check whether the drive shaft and coupling bolts are loose before operation.
( 2 ) Pay attention to keeping the vacuum pump speed at 800-1000 rpm . Too low a speed will cause short vibrations in the engine, and too high a speed will cause the rotor to heat up .
( 3 ) Vacuum sewage suction trucks are not allowed to suck in and transport waste oil and hazardous materials, nor can they be used as transport vehicles.
( 4 ) When the car is driving, make sure the oil pump is disconnected.
( 5 ) Try to dump on flat ground to avoid distortion of the frame and other components and cause rollover accidents. It is strictly prohibited to tip the tank on a longitudinal slope greater than 50% and a cross slope greater than 40% .
( 6 ) Before dumping sludge, be sure to open the rear tank door to avoid placing the center of gravity rearward and causing overturning.
( 7 ) When transporting sludge, the tank door must be pressed tightly. Since there is no anti-wave plate in the tank and the center of gravity of the vehicle is high, the vehicle can only drive at a medium speed and is not allowed to make sharp turns or brakes.
( 8 ) When lifting the tank for inspection, support rods and safety stops must be used.
( 9 ) Stones, cotton yarn, leaves, etc. will block the straw, so do not inhale and clean it frequently.
( 10 ) The ball valve should be fully opened when opening, otherwise the ball valve will be damaged.

3. Vehicle adjustment, maintenance and repair

1. Adjustment of hydraulic system
The pressure of the entire hydraulic system has been adjusted before leaving the factory and is generally left untouched. If there is any change, adjust it according to the following method. After connecting the oil pump, you can put the lifting lever of the multi-way valve in the lowered position and slowly lift the multi-way valve.
Rotate the adjustment handwheel of the overflow valve in the valve so that the system pressure stops when the reading is 100 kg f /cm2 , then tighten the locking nut and loosen the multi-way valve stem.
2. Maintenance and overhaul of the vacuum pump oil tank and oil-gas separator (see Figure 4 )

This vacuum pump is a scraper-type frictionless vacuum pump that requires oil lubrication and sealing. Oil and water easily evaporate in the vacuum state during operation. Therefore, the gas discharged by the vacuum pump is a mixture of oil, water and air. In order not to pollute the air and save money Lubricating oil must be separated. The function of the oil and gas separator is to separate oil, water and air. Therefore, after working for a period of time, water will remain at the bottom of the separator. It must be drained after the operation is completed, otherwise it will be sucked into the pump and cause sintering failure. After the engine oil is used for a long time, the viscosity will decrease, which will affect the air tightness and lubrication effect. Therefore, the oil must be changed regularly. In addition, pay attention to replenishing the oil. When the vacuum degree is 600 mmhg , the oil level should be below the lower line of the dipstick. Pay attention to adding oil once every 50 hours of operation. Clean the interior once a month,
Since this pump is an oil-sealed pump, it must maintain enough N32 mechanical oil during normal operation. No. 32 refrigeration oil should be used in cold winter seasons. The oil plays a role in sealing gaps and lubrication, but the oil in the pump will also be absorbed during exhaust. Take it out of the pump, so it is necessary to install a primary and secondary oil and gas separator outside the exhaust port to fully separate the oil and gas. The oil is recovered and reused by the pump, and the gas is discharged into the atmosphere to make the pump run smoothly and achieve pollution-free and energy-saving operation. Purpose.
3. Automatic alarm device for full tank
There is an alarm bag installed on the upper part of the tank. The inside should be cleaned once a month, especially the valve seat and wire mesh should be cleaned thoroughly.
4. Maintenance of tank door locking device
After long-term use, dirt will form inside and it will be difficult to lock the tank door. Therefore, the inside should be disassembled and cleaned every 6 months and lubricated.
5. Maintenance of hydraulic system
This system uses No. 20 hydraulic oil (use No. 20 low-condensing oil hydraulic oil in winter). If No. 20 hydraulic oil is not available, No. 20 mechanical oil can be used instead.
Strict filtration is required when refueling, and the filtration accuracy is not less than 50 μm . Fill the fuel tank according to the oil standard, then perform a test run for 30 minutes, and drain the air from the system. The normal oil temperature is 30 ℃ - 80 ℃. Pay attention to changing the oil regularly, usually 4 - 6 months. The inspection method is: drop the hydraulic oil onto the blotting paper. If stains are left, replace the oil. The dirty oil can be regenerated to allow continued use.
6. Each hinge lubrication point should be replenished with grease every other month.
